- The Shitamachi Art Festival will be held from October 12 to November 10, 2019. This art festival began in 2015, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. It will feature contemporary art exhibitions and performances in Kobe's downtown area (southern Nagata Ward).
