Site Description: As long as content exists in this world, editorial departments will endure. This is an incident that occurred at a certain gourmet magazine's editorial department, separate from *and recipe magazine*. The editor-in-chief told rookie gourmet writer Yamaoka: "There's a wise saying about watching American sports: 'Watch from the highest seats or the cheapest seats.' So, go eat some yakisoba at some casual diner!" Yamaoka, who had entered this field because he could eat Michelin-level gourmet food for free, thought, ("What's with that 'therefore'? I'd rather have exquisitely al dente pasta than yakisoba!") but immediately replied, "Yes!" and, taking his digital camera and voice recorder, headed for the noren of that shop in a certain downtown area of Tokyo.
