- When a simple white uchiwa fan is held up to the light, the silhouette of leaves emerges, creating komorebi. The original, hand-pressed paper is Echizen Washi, which has a history connected to Fukui-ken Echizen-shi. It was crafted by the hands of traditional Kyo Uchiwa artisans in Kyoto. It is an uchiwa fan to enjoy the summer coolness.
