- 1. Color scheme (color palette) Base color (background color): A warm cream (off-white) is used widely throughout. Using a warm, not pure white, color creates a sense of kindness and natural reassurance. Theme colors: Two contrasting colors — a vivid red and a refreshing blue — correspond to the 'strawberry' and 'milk' flavors. The site is designed with many split screens (left/right) so comparisons of information are intuitive. 2. Characters and graphics Main character: Friendly-style dog illustrations are placed at the very top (header), center, and near the footer. Thick navy outlines and simple color usage create a catchy design that somewhat evokes the parent company Akagi Nyugyo's 'Garigari-kun'. Fonts (text): Headlines such as the product name 'Wanwan-kun' use slightly rounded, pop bold typefaces to convey friendliness and fun. 3. Layout and composition (from top) First view: At the very top that first meets the eye when opening the page, a large character illustration and product package photo are placed dynamically to instantly communicate that this is ice cream for dogs. Section dividers: Wave-like borders are used to create a soft and playful atmosphere, distinct from rigid business sites. Use of UGC (user-generated content): Around the middle of the page, many photos of dogs actually eating the ice cream are displayed in a grid. By showing natural-looking photos taken by owners (SNS-post style) rather than professional shots, the design encourages trust in purchasing and evokes empathy like 'I want to give this to my pet too.' Q&A visibility: The Q&A section towards the end spaces out content without cramming text, lines are neatly arranged vertically with icons (Q and A) for each line, and generous white space makes it easy to skim on smartphones while scrolling.
