Design
1. Color scheme (color palette): Conveying fun and seasonality
Bright, poppy colors:
Distinct from Marugame Seimen's traditional Japanese, subdued image (wood grain, deep navy, deep green, etc.), pastel colors and vivid hues catch the eye.

Emphasizing a colorful flavor lineup:
To match a colorful lineup such as "Blue Hawaii", "Mango", "Anmitsu-style" and "Anko Kinako", the site effectively uses colors that represent each flavor (refreshing blue, vivid yellow, warm Japanese beige, etc.). In particular, colors that convey the seasonal or summery feel of "Blue Hawaii" are visually effective.

2. Visuals and typography: Catchiness and expressing the “new texture”
A bold headline that answers the question, "Udon pudding, what is that?!":
A thick, impactful font (typography) is placed centrally to voice the user’s surprise or question, "Wait, pudding made from udon?", immediately drawing them in.

Fonts that convey "purumochi" and "mochi-toro":
Using bouncy, handwritten-like characters or slightly rounded fonts visually and playfully expresses the product’s main characteristic—the unique new texture described by onomatopoeia such as "purun" and "mochi-toro."

3. Layout and composition: A storytelling approach that unravels the product’s appeal
The layout is a "story-type" design where simply scrolling the page naturally leads the user to understand the product as a whole.

First view (top):
A colorful product visual and the catchcopy immediately grab attention.

Lineup showcase:
Four flavors are displayed side by side, and the layout is arranged so that the contents of each cup (pudding base, jelly, toppings, etc.) are clear at a glance. By adding an interactive element like "Check the contents!", the design encourages users to actively seek more details.

"How it's made" manufacturing process visuals:
Handmade steps such as "finely chopping the udon" and "slowly kneading in a pot" are explained in a step-by-step format (with illustrations or photos). Visualizing the handcrafted feel and dedication unique to Marugame Seimen increases reassurance and anticipation for what might at first seem like an eccentric product.

4. Motion and media usage
Seamless placement of videos (movies):
Video content such as "How Marugame udon purin is made" and TV commercials are embedded in the page, intuitively conveying the jiggly-chewy texture and the in-store handmade feel that text and still images alone cannot fully communicate.

Mobile-first design:
Assuming traffic from sources like Yahoo! Ads (yda), the site adopts a mobile-friendly, vertically scrolling layout optimized for smartphones, with navigation that can be used smoothly with one hand (such as a fixed top menu).
