Site Description: Seven contests color the KADOKAWA-hosted creative festival Natsugatari! Natsugatari is a large-scale creative festival held on Kakuyomu in the summer. We hope this event will serve as an opportunity for first-time submissions or to step into a new genre. With that wish in mind, we have prepared seven diverse contests, including novels, manga originals, and tanka. Each contest includes a beginner division to make participation easier for newcomers. We also hold contests not only for those who write but also for those who read. Writers and readers alike — why not put the possibilities of an as-yet-unseen self into words this summer?
Design: By stacking vivid pastel-colored blocks vertically, the layout creates an exciting, rhythmic feeling as if traveling through summer memories. The colorful treatments tailored to each topic produce a fun, lively atmosphere that naturally draws users into the world of the stories.
