Site Description: This is a food information site published by Tokyu Hyakkaten that connects food areas scattered throughout Shibuya.
Design: The illustrated map that uses the whole city as a motif is extremely striking, and from the moment you open the site it conveys an exciting sense of a “food theme park.” The soft pastel colors and hand-drawn visuals create a friendly atmosphere, and even with a variety of content such as sweets, event information, and shop introductions arranged on the site, there is an overall sense of unity that makes it very comfortable to browse. Furthermore, the card-style layout and use of whitespace organize the information, and the unified tone of the photographs firmly preserves the brand’s overall worldview. The balance of playfulness and elegance is exquisite, making it a highly polished design that is enjoyable to look at.
