Site Description: F1, the pinnacle of car racing. BAT, which supports Makuraren, one of the world's teams, has released a "glo™HiloPlusMcLarenRacing-inspired limited edition design set."
Design: The color scheme, centered on black and the orange that symbolizes Makuraren, is extremely powerful, and it is attractive in that it brilliantly expresses a world that simultaneously conveys luxury and a sense of speed. The visuals, staged so that the product and the machine emerge from a dark background, are highly immersive; the textures of metal and leather and even the reflections of light are carefully rendered, which strongly communicates the product’s luxury and sense of exclusivity. Furthermore, the minimal layout that makes use of white space and the switching of large photographs guide the viewer’s gaze very smoothly, and the structure that naturally connects the brand story to the product introduction is highly accomplished; I feel this is a design that achieves both the fervor of motorsports and the refinement of a premium product at a high level.
