Site Description

Published in 2023, Akutagawa Nao-shi's bestselling novel 'Sutoroberii Muun', which sparked a huge reaction as 'Reiwa's most tear-jerking', has finally been adapted into a live-action film. Okada Yoshikazu, the 'legend of human drama' who has written scripts for 'Yomei 10-nen' (22) and 'Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu' (04), and Sakai Mai, who has attracted attention as an up-and-coming talented young director with 'Utsukushii Kare ~eternal~' (21), teamed up to create a new collaboration.

Design

The pale pastel gradations and the moonlight on the water create a gentle afterglow, and the opening — which naturally connects the hero section to the path for advance tickets and screening theaters — is superb. Structured to follow the deepening of emotion from Trailer→Introduction→Story→Cast→Original Work→Theme Song→Staff, the photo lighting, white space, and tone of the rounded-corner cards consistently and carefully support the 'bittersweetness and warmth'. The delicate typography of the headings achieves both readability and poetic feeling, and the key CTAs promote action without disturbing the quiet of the story. The layers of materials, colors, and copy blend pleasantly, making this a highly accomplished film LP that simultaneously enables immersion in the work's world and access to practical information.
