- Site Description
- "SENSEISLAND/LAND | Island of Senses and Land of Senses," an art event exploring senses and strata set in Yokosuka city and the uninhabited Sarushima island, is an endeavor to re-examine the topography of Yokosuka as a part of the Earth and land formed over tens of thousands of years, the various industries of Yokosuka continuously passed down for hundreds of years, and potential environmental and regional changes in recent years, all through the lens of art within the Yokosuka area. The venues include Sarushima Island at night and historical and natural sites scattered across the city, where domestic and international artists will present art installations, live performances, and special tours.
- Design
- This landing page, a special feature for the contemporary art event "SENSEISLAND/LAND," boasts a minimalist and sophisticated design primarily in monochrome. Visually emphasized elements are presented with a simple black and white contrast, creating a refined atmosphere. By expertly utilizing monochrome photographs and typography, it highlights the abstract and mysterious charm of the art.
