This year marks the 50th anniversary of the birth of "Berusaiyu no Bara," a monumental work that overturned the prevailing wisdom of the girls' manga world at the time, which held that "historical stories don't sell."

- This work, which garnered enthusiastic support from readers since its serialization, was later adapted into a stage play by Takarazuka Revue, triggering an unprecedented "Berubara" boom. It was also adapted into a TV anime, and continues to be loved across generations even today.
