- Osaka was once known as the 'City of Water' (around the Meiji era). However, in recent years, this had become a distant memory. This is the official website of 'Suito Osaka,' where various projects are underway, centered around the 'Water Corridor'—a globally rare geographical feature where rivers form a rectangular loop around the city center. These projects include creating symbolic spaces, developing boat landings, and lighting up embankments and bridges.
